“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. For the former things have passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:4

He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.
Psalm 18:19 NIV

Sometimes God asks us to set aside the old in order to usher in the new. He calls us to leave behind that which we have held dear, and counted safe, in order to draw closer to Him. But, our sacrifice is wrapped in beautiful grace – we give up in order to gain.

I put all my hope in the Lord. He leaned down to me; he listened to my cry for help.
2 He lifted me out of the pit of death, out of the mud and filth, and set my feet on solid rock. He steadied my legs.
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise for our God. Many people will learn of this and be amazed; they will trust the Lord.

Psalm 40:1-3 Common English Bible (CEB) Psalm 40

Colossians 3:16 New Living Translation (NLT)

16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Welcome!

My name is Betty Cooper-Pauls and I invite you into my story. It’s personal. It’s hard. It’s emotional. But I share it because I believe I have something to say that will help others.

From Heaven to earth come down:.
He laid aside His royalty
I simply want you to be reminded that He was real. His sandals flapped when He walked down the road. His hair was misshapen when He awakened. He had to brush the bread crumbs off His beard after He ate. The muscles in His arms flexed when He lifted His little brothers and sisters. He had hair on His arms and warmth in His palms. He was the Son of God and the Son of man. Fathom the unfathomable.
